Hair tutorial videos can be long daunting. How cool to learn dope hairstyles with a few visual steps. Once you have the basics, you can add additional flavor to match your fly!

Items you’ll need:

  • Comb (for parting)
  • Pack(s) of hair, I am using left over hair from a previous style
  • Hair Glue
  • Protective sealant for hair
  • Bobby pins
  • Gel
  • Hair Clips

I began on freshly washed, detangled and deep conditioned hair. Split my hair into two parts. Leaving more hair in the back.

Clipping the back portion away, I braided two medium sized braids on the right, and only one braid on the left. Feel free to be creative as you please with your braids, if time permits.

Right side.

Place both parts into two ponytails (not too tight). Remember to slick down them edges. I secured the braided ponytail in the back with bobby pins. Here, I already began to glue the wefts, starting from the nape of my neck, going upward, measuring from one side to the other. Place your tracks as close as you prefer. The closer the wefts are together, the fuller the look.

Beginning at the end of the braid, begin wrapping the weft around the braid until you reach the top. Secure with bobby pins. I played around with the hair to get my desired placement and BOOMSHAKALAKA!

This style can also be achieved using crochet hair. Next post maybe? Comment below if you’d like a tutorial of this style using crochet hair.
